Blessed are the meek? How can meekness be a blessing? Can it overcome anything? Doesn’t the biggest, loudest and whiniest always prevail? But God says the meek shall inherit the earth.
A meek man is a man of mild temper, soft, gentle, and not easily provoked or irritated. Meekness is not however, weakness. The Bible tells us that Moses was “very meek” (Numbers 12:3) but he wasn’t a sissy. Self-control never conflicts with our responsibility to be faithful to God, His cause or His people.
Look at Zephaniah 2:3, “Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness…” A meek person will declare God’s judgments – while letting God fight their personal battles. There’s no conflict with Romans 12:19. According to Isaiah 61:1, the Gospel is preached to those who are meek. Isaiah 61:1, “…the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek…”
The “he” then of,
“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear” (Matt 11:15), are men and women meek enough to hear what God has to say. Meekness is teachable. Two words closely related to meekness are lowliness (Matt 11:29) and gentleness (2 Cor. 10:1).
You stand for Truth and trust God to work His perfect will in your life and circumstances. Can you keep the battle from becoming personal today?

BC Missions' Journey to Become
Collaborative Christian Media (CCM)
BC Missions, founded in 2018, started the Marvelous Message of Salvation library to support Christians seeking to share the gospel with bilingual people. There is something special about hearing the truth of the Gospel in your heart language, and CCM still considers it one of the best collaborations in our company's history.
